Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and journalist Lauren Sánchez got engaged on May 22, 2023.

The couple celebrated their engagement at La Petite Maison in Cannes, France, along with Jeff Bezos's sister Christina Bezos Poore and her husband Steve Poore.

They enjoyed zucchini blossoms with parmesan cheese and a $4,285 bottle of Dugat-Py Grand Cru, a red Burgundy wine from Domaine Bernard.

Bezos and Sanchez were seen on a luxurious yacht with a wooden sculpture resembling Sanchez. They attended the premiere of Apple Original Films' "Killers of the Flower Moon" at the Cannes Film Festival.

Lauren Sanchez was seen wearing an engagement ring on the yacht, estimated to be a 25-30 carat diamond ring worth anywhere from $3 million to upwards of $5 million.

Bezos and Sanchez made their relationship public in 2019 after Bezos announced his divorce from MacKenzie Scott, with whom he shares four children.
