Reliance Jio has launched the Jio Bharat Phone, targeting the 250 million feature phone users in India with affordable internet-enabled phones.

The Jio Bharat platform will offer digital services on entry-level phones, and other phone brands, starting with Karbonn, will adopt the platform.

The first two Jio Bharat phones are being launched in partnership with Karbonn, with a beta trial for 1 million phones starting on July 7.

The Jio Bharat Phone plan is priced at Rs 123 per month and offers unlimited voice calls and 14 GB of data (0.5GB per day), which is 30% cheaper and provides more data compared to other operators' feature phone offerings.
